Review Wednesday - Twisted Mini CD - PETE L

On Fridays show I played Twisted's first ever Mini CD. It was sent to us by Pete L, who is a Hamilton DJ. Below is the Choon List, and a brief profile of PeteL:

1. Automatik, Beat Renegades, (Mr Bishi Mix)
2. Porcelain, (Moby) Racheal Auburn, (Hardhouse Mix)
3. Everything is Go, Steve Hill vs Nu Renegades, (Grinder Mix)

Name: Pete Lewis
Location: Hamilton
Age: 30
Music style: Everything that goes doof doof, coz it’s ALL good.

I got to the UK at the start of 1996 and hadn’t really heard much dance music at all. That soon changed as the house I moved into were all big clubbers and always were going to SW1, The Chunnel, Club, The Fridge or somewhere crazy!!!.

In 1997(I think, it’s all a bit hazy!!!) Fevah started up. Got to know a few of the Fevah lads and ladies, I started DJing at the end of 97. Initially it was just for a bit of fun, never really wanting to play the big parties. Got a bit better and played a small parties like Toast, Torque, Smile and a few others. Over the next few years, partied my farken arse off, and returned to NZ not so long ago. I am now hoping to do a set on the wicked Twisted FM soon!!!
