I was watching "Tonight" last night and heard that they've had their talks and it doesn't appear to have resolved anything.
What I have heard about all of this is that the council is the party trying to close the speedway. The few bits and pieces I have noted, it seems to me that the residents of the area are ok with it. After all why would one move to the area if the speedway was going to be a problem?
Can the council see potential land for more apartments? Or do the residents of the area truly hate it that much?
