This is the choon I played on my show on Wednesday. It is an Ode to Brian Tamaki, and it's absolutely fantastic. I happened upon this choon a few weeks ago and felt compelled to play it and write about it.
The lyrics speak of Brian Tamaki in all his evilness. At the end of the choon is a line that states "Brian Tamaki is the DEVIL". I was exceptionally amused by this!
The Artist remains Anonymous, but I found the following comments from him/her:
"The inspiration behind it was my frustration with Brian Tamaki. He attacks marginalized groups within society like homosexuals and vulnerable women needing abortions, whilst taking advantage of another marginalized group (Poor Maoris). He is just getting rich off their stupidity. I wish he would use his considerable power to stop child or spousal abuse rather than hate
people who like to f**k people from their own gender. Initially it was going to be an instrumental jam (hence the over-long opening), but those lyrics hit me one night, and I finished the song in under three hours of mayhem."
I also found out that another Radio Station (a commercial one) was set to play this choon live to air. They decided not to because they were threatened with court proceedings as it appeared Mr Tamaki was less than impressed with the choon.
I have discovered in recent conversation with a Journo that if the choon was intended in satirical manner, as this choon is, then the artist and the broadcasting station have defense against defamation or slander, as after all it was done in jest!
I recommend that Anon calls Chris Hocquard on BFM, who is an entertainment lawyer, who could possibly explain the finer points of a situation such as this.

Ok. People are entitled to their opinions Righteous one. It's what makes people different in this world, to believe in different things. I for one, do not believe in God. You, I'm guessing do. I have no problem with this. As we are allowed choice. Choice to believe, choice not to believe. But is it fair when we are deprived of choice and are forced to let other people make it for us? No, that holds no freedom for us. So why should it be fair for another person to judge whether or not people who, for example, prefer the same sex are allowed to be together.

I have friends who attend church every Sunday without fail, and I hold nothing against them. Hi peeps, my name's Marmaduke, and I thought I'd just drop my ideas in for their two sesterces' worth. Firstly, righteous1, what a poor misguided soul you are; the same goes for you, Sandra. I've heard this song a couple of times and I think it is a masterpiece. Without humour and parody, society becomes dull, laborious and loses a vital check on those in powerful positions. Even if you disagree with Anon, you must never lose the ability to take a step back and laugh at yourself. Because then you'll be joining the overwhelming majority of society who regard fundamentalist religious people as risible and a danger to the very fabric of society. Bigotry is not cool, even if it is dressed up in a flashy (or is that tacky?) suit, resplendent with gold rings, perma-tan and greasy pornstar hair. (To paraphrase Anon's lyrics, Mr Tamaki does look more like a pimp than a preacher, you must admit.)
If Mr Tamaki is so intent on doing good for the community, why is he not using some of his money to alleviate poverty - the greatest social disease afflicting the majority of his congregation (Maori and PI's) - and actually helping them? Rather, he promises them the city of Jericho. His Christian army will take control of the country and lorde control over everyone, as he has promised. Does this not sound treasonous?
And finally, Mr Tamaki claims that God talks to him directly. As a sixth year med student, I would indicate a heavy dose of antipsychotic medication coupled with a tricyclic antidepressant. This could be a simple psychotic episode, but sometimes such symptoms are manifestations of latent schizophrenia. Either way, as much of a risk to society as Mr Tamaki is, he does not appear to be overtly violent (he leaves that up to his minions) and thus it is unlikely he would have to be committed.
As for me, I'll stick with my true saviour - Pastor Brian Tamariki.

Hi, Sandra here again. I'd just like to point out that while the Church does tithe its members, this money is not just spent on Tamaki's car, jewellery etc. etc. Much of it goes back to the Church community and produces things like childcare facilities and better arenas for Church members to meet at. At the same time, these institutions are infused with an inherent humanity and Christian morals which can not be found in institutions of the same nature in a secular society. With the help of Tamaki, members have managed to escape from many of the expensive vices which would otherwise cost much more than the tithe. Brian is just a spokesperson for the church, not a pimp, not evil, and certainly not Beelzebub.

I think "an eye for an eye" etc was a tool of fear that was added to the bible by the controlling church. God is meant to be the God of love, not the God of Revenge, and this is what makes me think that the church added this to the bible, so their control of their parishoners was not lost.

I have just come by this blog thanks to searching for porn! I find this whole Brian Tamaki/Anon/Mistress Dirtbag thing fascinating if not quite as stimulating as my initial intention when summoning the internet today! Some questions. Does Brian Tamaki even know he is being mocked and parodied in such a way? Is Mistress Dirtbag a real dominatrix as well as seeming radio personality? You may be wrong Reg the Spider. Anon's song clearly accuses Tamaki of being gay despite him obviously not being so. If it could be proved that Anon was not intending it in a satirical manner then there could be trouble for Anon and the Mistress.I think its debatable if this is libel.
From what I've heard when the Mistress plays the song it's really funny. And I bet other people have called Pastor Tamaki gay too, he may have been personaly offended but I don't see anyone in court about it. Sounds a bit american sue someone for name calling. Lighten up.

Hi. I believe in God but I do NOT believe that Tamaki is the one to help me to get to know God better.
Tamaki is a hypocrite. It's as simple as that, really. He goes under the guise of being a nice caring Christian man but I think that that is all pretty much bull.
Destiny Church has given more to Brian than any of the down-trodden poverty-ridden homeless people that he professes to care about.
Brian's church takes in millions of dollars each year, in tithes, sales of books, sales of tapes and CD's, investments, etc, and that income has been tax-free until recently. What does it give back? Narrow-minded views on the lifestyles that some people choose to live.
It's the same as many churches, like the Salvation Army and the Catholic church and most of the other churches that exist. They've taken in billions of dollars collectively and they have a duty to give that back to people, like homeless people, but not much has been given back to the community thus far. Most churches have millions of dollars in assets and it's just sitting there accumulating and the trustees, when it comes down to it, don't seem to give a f*** and they don't intend to sell any of it off to benefit the people that it, under law, should actually be benefiting.
Then you get someone like Brian Tamaki going on about beneficiaries and that at times,whinging and complaining about them and how he thinks they're a drain on the economy, and all the while he has negelected to fulfil the duty he has to redistribute to appropriate sources, which definitely includes beneficiaries, the wealth that his church is in possession of.
So he's not really into Christianity. If he was he'd be showing it, he'd be walking the walk instead of just spouting the crap.
Hey. Christian here. I would just like to say that Brian Tamariki is my saviour too, not that cheap fake impersonator of Tamariki - Tamaki!
Tamariki's awesome. He cares about good old traditional values. he doesn't want this country to go any further down the drain and so he preaches hate for homosexuals as a way to try and make our country better.
For only 10% of my gross income, $40 per week, I get to listen to Brian and his beautiful, artistic, inspiring messages of hate against minorities. Next week I'm going to ask my friend Brian if he hates himself because he's a minority. But I have faith in him. I know he doesn't hate himself, because he just bought himself an awesome new vehicle, so he'll have an awesome explanation ready and waiting for me (he knows what questions I'm going to ask him already!)
By the way, I'd just like to say that $40 per week to hear Brian's messages is an absolute bargain, so I am completely unaware of what people are complaining about.

Hey, since this is quite a liberal crowd (albeit a few narrow-minded people), I thought I'd tell you my idea: Bigamy should be legalised. Just like some gay people will always ever only be attracted to the same sex, some people will always be in love with two or more people at the same time. It's my opinion that the law needs to change so that bigamists and would-be bigamists have rights under law. People should be able to be married to more than one person at the same time. Doncha think?
P.S. Don't tell Brian Tamaki I posted this message. He'll just go psycho. He'll pray to God to strike me with lightening!
