David Bowie was an English singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, arranger, painter and actor. He was a figure in popular music for over four decades, and was considered by critics and other musicians as an innovator, particularly for his work in the 1970s. His rich and unique voice has always been a favourite of mine, and his out there glam style and utter disregard for the constraints of normalcy made him a hero in my eyes.
RIP great man, your influence and innovation will be sorely missed.
