"Shock Me" is a song by American hard rock band Kiss on their 1977 album Love Gun. It was written by lead guitarist Ace Frehley, who made his lead vocal debut. The song was inspired by an event that took place during Kiss' Rock and Roll Over tour when he was nearly electrocuted.

Cat People Putting Out Fire, David Bowie
Released in March 1982. The title song to the film Cat People, an erotic film by Paul Schrader, also released in 1982.
The director Paul Schrader engaged Bowie for a theme song in 1981, with Moroder having already recorded most of the music. Bowie was to put lyrics to the main theme. The B-side is a Moroder-only instrumental which featured no input from Bowie.
The song itself, in keeping with the dark tone of the film, has some slight goth rock influences, with Bowie singing in a deep baritone croon while being backed up by a female chorus.

1972, David Bowie released 'Changes' as a single in the UK. The track peaked at No.49 on the UK chart and later at No.41 on the US chart. This was the last song Bowie performed live on stage before his retirement from live performances at the end of 2006.
The song ranked number 128 on the Rolling Stone list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time and is included in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll.[5] On 27 November 2016, the Grammy Hall of Fame announced its induction, along with that of another 24 songs.

RIP David Bowie,There's a Starman Waiting in the Sky
The world has lost one of the most talented and influential men of all time.
David Bowie was an English singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, arranger, painter and actor. He was a figure in popular music for over four decades, and was considered by critics and other musicians as an innovator, particularly for his work in the 1970s. His androgynous appearance was an iconic element of his image, principally in the 1970s and 1980s. (Source: Wikipedia)
His rich and unique voice has always been a favourite of mine, and his out there glam style and utter disregard for the constraints of normalcy made him a hero in my eyes.
RIP great man, your influence and innovation will be sorely missed.

It was originally written in 1987 for organ and is adapted from the earlier work ASLSP 1985; a typical performance of the piano version lasts 20 to 70 minutes.
In 1985, Cage opted to omit the detail of exactly how slowly the piece should be played.
